Responsibilities

• Oversee search and placement services for candidates and clients in skilled trade job families
• Achieve personal gross profit targets through acquisition of new clients and repeat placements
• Execute sales and business development activities, including sourcing and candidate marketing
• Develop and implement focused business recruiting and marketing plans
• Conduct independent research to identify, recruit, screen, and interview candidates
• Utilize various technologies to enhance candidate and client experiences
• Prepare candidates for interviews and perform compensation analysis
• Lead, train, coach, and performance manage direct staff
• Monitor team progress and develop succession plans
• Maintain operational standards of excellence and profitability

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of direct hire recruiting experience
• Background in manufacturing, logistics, or construction industries preferred
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to work within a team environment
• Detail-oriented with strong decision-making skills
• Demonstrated ability to handle multiple priorities simultaneously
• Assertive and ambitious with strong persuasion and negotiation skills
• History of leading and growing a successful team
• Proficiency using Google mail, calendaring and shared drives
