Talent Acquisition Coordinator (Background Checks & Compliance) Banking and Finance | Sydney (Hybrid – 3 days in office, near Town Hall) The Role We’re seeking a highly organised and detail-driven Talent Acquisition Coordinator This is a critical role focused on managing background (probity) checks and onboarding processes, ensuring all hires are compliant, accurate, and audit-ready. You’ll be the key liaison with our screening provider and play an essential role in maintaining hiring integrity. Key Responsibilities Manage and track all background checks via 3rd party provider Follow up on missing information and investigate discrepancies Ensure all checks are completed accurately and within SLA Escalate compliance risks to the TA team Prepare and manage employment contracts (changes, secondments) Partner with Hiring Managers, Reward, and HR teams Support onboarding tracking and reporting About You Strong attention to detail and accuracy Proactive and curious — you investigate and follow things through Highly organised, able to manage multiple tasks at pace Confident communicator with stakeholders at all levels Experience in coordination, HR, recruitment or compliance (preferred) Why Join High-impact role in a fast-paced, high-volume environment Strong exposure to compliance, onboarding and TA operations Collaborative team and stakeholder visibility Additional Info Sydney based (near Town Hall) Hybrid working (3 days in office) Immediate start preferred
