Compensation

This is an unpaid co-op position.

Responsibilities

• Source business leads from prospective clients
• Match job seekers with opportunities
• Conduct reference and background checks
• Screen resumes and interview candidates
• Assist with payroll and employee relations
• Handle health and safety incident reporting
• Assist with orientation and onboarding of new hires
• Ensure employee data is up to date in HRIS
• Analyze turnover data
• Assist with weekly audits for compliance

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in a Human Resources Program
• Available for the Winter term (January to April 2027)
• Flexible to work hybrid full-time (30 hours minimum) or part-time (20 hours minimum) per week
