The Role
Korn Ferry is searching for an Insights & Sourcing Consultant to support our RPO business.
This is a contract role. The position is remote with a preference for candidates based in the Eastern or Central time zone.
The Insights & Sourcing Consultant delivers complex talent intelligence for RPO and Projects engagements by producing market insights, sourcing strategies, talent maps, and competitor research. The role manages internal stakeholder expectations, recommends research approaches, and delivers outcomes that meet client needs, while supporting knowledge sharing across the team.
Key Responsibilities:
Client Partnership and Engagement
- Maintain deep understanding of supported clients, industries, talent markets, and competitor landscape.
- May be aligned to specific client accounts, which requires participation in client briefings to support the shaping of the research scope, approach, and strategy.
- Participate in internal stakeholder briefings and contribute insights that support tailored research and sourcing plans.
- Build positive relationships with internal clients, ensuring clarity of delivery requirements and timely communication.
Stakeholder Collaboration
- Ensure timely regional project delivery by working with internal stakeholders to understand needs, expectations, and desired outcomes.
-Conduct briefing calls with internal stakeholders to clarify research scope, expectations, and required outputs.
-Provide methodological guidance and recommend research approaches for complex or ambiguous projects.
- Serve as a subject matter expert on research tools, data sources, and methodologies related to Talent Intelligence and Sourcing.
- Contribute to COE initiatives by sharing best practices to junior researchers and identifying process improvement opportunities.
- Engage regularly with internal stakeholders to clarify needs and ensure timely delivery of research outputs.
Stakeholder Collaboration

Planning, Delivery and Governance
- Follow established COE processes and actively contribute to improvements.
- Develop accurate research strategies, talent maps, and insights aligned with RPO accounts standards.
- Ensure research outputs meet COE quality, compliance, and accuracy standards.
- Apply industry and market expertise to strengthen the strategic relevance of research outputs.
- Deliver talent intelligence outputs for business development, implementation, and active client accounts when required. This can be regional or multiregional.
Design and Innovation
- Use AI enabled sourcing and talent insights tools correctly to improve delivery efficiency and accuracy.
- Proactively explore additional use cases for AI enabled tools and workflows within the COE and support the implementation of new processes where required.
- Stay updated on innovations and emerging tools; recommend options that may improve effectiveness.
Analytics and Insight Enablement
- Synthesize extensive data sets into structured insights and narratives that support stakeholder decision making.
- Maintain accuracy of internal trackers and research documentation.
Accountability
- Deliver complex talent insights and sourcing outputs according to established COE frameworks.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure timely, aligned outcomes.
- Support the quality of the COE's output by proactive engagement with the established internal QA process.
- Adopt AI and innovation to enhance efficiency.
Required Skills:
- 5+ years of experience in the recruiting industry
- 2+ years of experience creating talent intelligence reports and sourcing strategies for recruitment teams
- Experience conducting industry, competitor, or market insights research beyond talent mapping
- Skilled at crafting insight narratives that support stakeholder decision-making
- Demonstrated ability to synthesize complex qualitative and quantitative data into clear, actionable insights
- Skilled at visualizing insights using templates, dashboards, or storytelling frameworks
- Ability to connect research outputs to broader industry trends
- Identifies patterns, risks, and opportunities that may inform talent strategies or market positioning
- High school diploma or equivalent
