Government Engineering Recruiter
As a recruiter, you’ll work with clients to find the right candidates to fill their open positions. This role is located in our Boston office.
Qualifications:
Proven track record of sourcing and placing highly qualified candidates in engineering roles, particularly in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, hardware engineering, and embedded systems disciplines.
In-depth understanding of the defense industry's unique hiring needs, security clearance requirements, and regulatory compliance standards.
Proficiency in utilizing applicant tracking systems (ATS) and other recruitment software to manage candidate pipelines and track progress.
Strong technical background in engineering disciplines, including hardware engineering and embedded systems, enabling effective screening and assessment of candidates' qualifications and skills.
Established network of industry contacts, including engineers, hiring managers, and industry associations, facilitating efficient talent acquisition.
Expertise in conducting candidate interviews, technical assessments, and reference checks to ensure candidate suitability and fit for specific defense projects.
Knowledge of emerging trends and technologies in defense engineering, hardware engineering, and embedded systems, enabling proactive talent sourcing and acquisition strategies.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills, essential for building rapport with candidates and securing successful placements in competitive defense engineering markets.

Creating and managing candidate pipelines and assessing candidate qualifications
Reviewing and prioritizing candidate activity including pre-screens and interviews
Negotiating and closing candidates with offers and starts
Actively networking within the local market
Requirements
2+ years’ experience preferred
Required from a PT staffing firm or “niche” (Government, Science, IT or Engineering) staffing provider
Experience in recruiting processes (can show proven success with regard to the recruiting process: sourcing, qualification, placement process, and temporary employee management).
Bachelor's degree preferred

Defined experience deploying a social media strategy in your recruiting
