What You Will Do
Analyze and contribute to full chip development workflows, spanning RTL through physical implementation
Review and provide feedback on system architectures and hardware design approaches generated through advanced modeling techniques
Support development of automated validation pipelines, including synthesis, timing, and power evaluation
Assess tradeoffs across power, performance, and area to guide optimal design decisions
Collaborate in exploratory and research-driven environments where project scope may evolve
Provide subject matter expertise to improve design methodologies and overall system understanding
Core Focus Areas
End-to-end ASIC design processes, from RTL through layout
FPGA-based system design, prototyping, and deployment
Synthesis, floorplanning, and timing optimization strategies
Low-power design techniques, including clock gating and multi-threshold approaches
Required Qualifications
Advanced degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related discipline
Deep knowledge of ASIC or FPGA design environments
Strong programming skills, particularly in Python for scripting and automation
Ability to work independently in a remote, research-oriented setting
Preferred Qualifications
Prior experience supporting full chip tape-out cycles
Familiarity with design for test methodologies or physical design concepts
Exposure to open-source or commercial EDA tools such as synthesis and timing platforms
