Discord is a communication platform used by over 200 million people monthly, primarily for gaming. It aims to enhance user interaction and safety within gaming communities.

Responsibilities

• Analyzing data to uncover patterns, insights, and trends
• Designing operational response solutions in the Safety landscape
• Writing retros of Safety incidents with a focus on guardrail solutions
• Iterating and improving reporting to meet the needs of the safety landscape
• Delivering long-term project work in the Safety operations landscape
• Documenting work and its impact
• Assisting in developing scalable, clean data infrastructure
• Partnering with teams across Safety to increase the impact of work

Requirements

• Experience updating data architecture in version control systems such as Git
• Data Reporting experience with an understanding of new feature design and guardrails
• Statistical analysis training
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and accuracy while performing legal requests
• Excellent written communication and documentation skills
• Ability to foster relationships and communicate complex concepts to stakeholders
